Vehicle Detail
Up for Sale here is a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am GT in need of some TLC, Green Exterior with Grey Interior, The body is in good condition, Windshield is cracked, Rear passenger window will not go up and down, it is off the track, I have had the cover off the back door and placed items inside the door to try to keep the window up but it always keeps coming down, Picture 1 shows that I tried Duct tape to hold the rear window up, (with no luck), so what you see there is tape residue Diver Seat has a piece of wood wedged into the back seat that holds the drivers seat forward, Radio volume knob is missing so you kind of have to pull the volume stem and turn to make it work correctly. I drove this car mainly to work and back every day for a couple of years, with no problems, then one day it would not start, It Sounds like the Timing Chain is broken to me, It will turn over and sounds like it wants to start, but will just backfire, Of course when you are having a bad day it only gets worse, I went to pull the lever to open the hood and the lever broke, I am unable to get the hood open, I have another car that the same thing happened and I had to break the grill out of that car to get the hood open, I did not do that with this car, because it is actually a nice car it just does not run, So I have not had the hood open or the car running since about November of last year. I am selling this car because I do not have the patience or the back that would be ale to repair. Buyer must make arrangements for local pickup, Car is parked in the front yard, and you will probably need to pull it out into the street before it will go onto a Dolley or trailer. Please E-mail me and I will make arrangements for viewing in the evening after 6pm. Thanks for looking.
