Vehicle Detail
Due to a deadbeat ebayer, I am relisting this car for auction. It is a 1970 Camaro Rally Sport. This is an original RS, not a clone. I bought this car about 3 years ago along with two other Z28's. I have decided to sell this car because with the two Z-28's, I have enough to do for the next several years. The guy I bought the car from said that he had put a new GM 350 crate motor in about 15,000 miles ago. This I believe. The motor runs strong and sounds good. He said that at the same time he had the TH 350 transmission rebuilt. The trans shifts good, the linkage needs a little adjustment. I think that all the steel on this car is original - with no bondo. I bought the car out of Arizona. The cars body does have some rust - the front fender right behind the wheels and the rear quarter panels behind the wheels. The trunk lid has a little rust. The rear panel under the bumper has rust. It has a dent around the drivers side headlight, a small dent in the fender and door. The windshield is cracked. The trunk pan, floor pans, have some surface rust, rear and front frame rails all seem solid with very little surface rust. The drivers side floor pan is a little soft. The rest of the underside seems to be solid. I think the vinyl top is original but does have a lot of rust spots under it. It has air shocks in the rear that still hold air. The car runs and drives, the motor is strong. The car is a good solid start to rebuild an original RS. I have also an extra hood for the car. I have additional photos if needed, I can email them upon request if you are serious about this car. It will have to be picked up, I suggest trailering it or I can help load onto a truck. If you do not have the money, don't bid. If you are not from the United States, don't bid. Thanks, good luck bidding!
