Mercedes 300 sd 1983 Diesel. Body in good condition, very little rust for Mercedes of that age. Previous owner was a Mercedes mechanic and the car was constantly maintained and garage kept. Driven as a second/third vehicle. I've owned it for 3 years in November. Shortly after I bought it I hit a deer, ouch. The hood was replaced and is blue. A new radiator and block heater was put in. I've kept it maintained with regular fuel filter and oil and filter changes. Glow plugs have been replaced as well as fuel lines. It had a valve adjustment about a year and a half ago. The ignition was removed and replace because it had locked up. there is a secondary shut off switch in the car. There have been problems with the alternator recently and the voltage regulator has been repaired, there is still something going on there that isn't great. The car has been driven up until recently when there was an oil leak. There is high mileage, over 500,000! It is the original engine and is a beast. I have had no problems with it until about 10 months ago, and I have since purchased another vehicle. The body and most of the insides of the car are in good condition and could be a parts car or someone's baby that they want to get up and going.
