1997 Porsche 911 C2SThe long and storied era of air-cooled Porsche 911’s ended in 1998, and thanks in no small part to the Carrera “S” cars, the air-cooled era went out in glorious fashion. Porsche has always reserved the “S” designation for its top-of-the-line offerings, and rarely throughout the history of the marque has it been more aptly applied than to the 1996-98 Carrera 2S and 4S, which gracefully combine the gorgeous, aggressive bodywork of the Turbo with the reliable, everyday usability of the standard Carrera. This Arctic Silver 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera 2S has covered just 33,563 miles, and is literally perfect. The paint is all original and flawless; there’s not so much as a dent, ding or scratch anywhere on the car. The black leather interior is as spectacular as the exterior, with no rips, tears or visible wear…it even still smells new! Desirable factory options include a Limited-Slip Differential, 18-inch Technology Design Wheels, Fully-powered Driver’s “Comfort Seat”, cruise control, sunroof, CD player, and last but certainly not least, the Motor Sound Package that makes this Carrera 2S sound too good to even try to describe. We have all the original books and service records.While we traditionally deal only in 100% original cars, this particular Carrera 2S has been outfitted with two very necessary aftermarket remedies: 1) H&R Sport Springs lower the car to its proper European ride height (the car has been aligned accordingly and the stock springs are present and included); 2) A professionally installed Alpine amplifier and Pioneer speakers work in concert with the factory Porsche CD player (as good as Porsche is at building the best sportscars in the world, their skills are less impressive when it comes to OE audio equipment!).As one of our personal use cars, this 1997 911 Carrera 2S was just serviced with fresh Brad Penn oil and rides on four new BFGoodrich G-Force KDW’s.
