Vehicle Detail

This is your basic garden variety Honda CRX. It is the HF model, which gets 45-50mpg if not driven with a lead foot. Since I got the car I've gone over the brakes, replaced a leaking rear cylinder, replaced the alternator, and made sure everything on the car is in decent working order. The interior is clean for its age, but please remember it is a 22 year old car so it doesn't look new. The driver's seat has a moderate amount of the typical Honda seat bolster wear. And the car has typical east coast cancer on the rear quarter panels. However, that being said, the car seems to drive fine, and would make an excellent run-about or commuter car for a student or young professional who just needs something basic for daily transportation. One thing that makes the car unique is that someone installed a high quality sunroof in it some years ago. It does not leak, and it comes with a crank handle to open it, so no worries about an electric motor going bad, since it doesn't have one! yay... keep it simple. It also is equipped with A/c, but the a/c is not currently working as the compressor was taken out of the car before I got it. I will include a compressor with the car for whoever buys it, but I'm not going to install it because A/c is not important for me and it never bothered me that the car didn't have it. I do not see any evidence of any body damage or past (major) accidents. If someone gave this car a little TLC to repair the quarter panel rust Im' sure it could look really nice again and last another 100,000 miles. The clutch, gearbox, steering, brakes, suspension all work fine on the car. I've written everything important that I can think of. Please let the photos be your guide and only bid what you are willing and able to pay. My reserve is not high at all considering what these cars typically go for. And, as usual, please ask any questions before placing your bid. I will require a $300 deposit within 24 hours of the listing ending, and balance to be paid within 1 week. I can hold the car for pickup for a few weeks, if you need it, but would prefer it be picked up as soon as possible. One last final note - Unfortunately, due to the rampant abuse of ebay by malicious and fraudulent bidders who think its cute to register a new user id and the bid on people's items with no intention of completing a sale, I will NOT honor any bid from anyone whose feedback is less than 5, and who have not been an ebay member for at least 2 months. If you are a legitimate interested buyer who is new to ebay and wish to buy the car, then you must contact me first, and preferably come to look at the car in person, and if you seem honest, I will allow you to bid on it then. Unfortunately those are my rules, in order to prevent my time and listing fees from being wasted. Thanks.
