This is a rare opportunity to obtain the last of the "real" Lotus 7's before Colin Chapman sold the rights to Caterham cars. This car has all the features that a S4 Super Seven owner wants: Right Hand Drive, 1558CC Lotus Twin Cam Engine with twin 40DCOE Weber carburettors (115hp), Low miles! A 1,310 lb car with 115hp equals FUN! She is vintage racing eligible by most vintage racing sanctioning bodies but has never been raced. The motor is tight and the water pump works perfectly (if you know this engine you will appreciate what that means). Has brand new tires and rebuilt front calipers. She is not concours but is in excellent shape. I purchased the car from the estate of a car collector that had owned her for years. The reason that I am selling the car is to buy an airplane. I have hundreds of pictures of the car so email me if you would like to see specific angles or details. I have a very reasonable reserve on this appreciating and hard to find classic.
