Vehicle Detail

1973 TRIUMPH – A TRUE SPORTS CAR The Triumph TR6 was smoothly redesigned by Karmann of Osnabruck. The headlights were moved outboard to the fender tips allowing for a neat new grill. The rear was lengthened and squared off, adopting a Kamm-style chop with horizontal taillights. The car is rugged, uncompromising with style and character. A true sports car with increased value and desirability. This is a first time offering. Few come even close to this TR6. This car is a true survivor. It has been well maintained, garaged and in very good condition. It has original documentation including the original build sheet and the original owners steel identification plate. All this plus it came from a warm, dry climate...............Texas. The car is tight and true. I found no surprises. It runs, handles and drives just like it should .It takes on road bumps without wander, shake or rattle. A wonderful motor car.A great Rally driving experience around town and on the open road. Only a select few come up to its standard. The interior has had excellent care. The owner must have really liked this car. The dash and all of the gauges are clean, clear and show like new. The door pads, visors seats and floor coverings are just as nice. Settling into this cockpit is a pleasure. I included 60 pictures in order for you to view the entire car. This is no ordinary TR6. The floors and frame are original and solid with ZERO repair. The exterior is straight with no filler. The chrome and glass is fresh and original and in very good condition. The white exterior with the black interior is by far the best color combination. Open the bonnet and you will find a manicured engine and engine compartment. There are brightly colored Chrome accents .I believe it to be of show quality throughout. The engine, trans, clutch and brakes are tight. The engine is very responsive and quick. The boot floor and surrounding area is completely rust free and solid The spare and original jack are in place as is the carpet. A solid well cared for boot always reflects the condition of the entire car. The convertible top goes up and down easily. All of the snaps are intact and fit just right. The window zipper opens and closes with ease. The windows are clean and clear. The top itself is by Robbins, a superior product that uses Hartz Supreme 36-oz pinpoint-grain vinyl with pre-shrunk cotton cloth. All seams are stitched then electronically sealed. The top cover is included. It fits and snaps tight. The added value Tonneau cover is in good condition. A favorite way to run for so many drivers. The Coker Red Line Classic tires are correct for the car and brand new. The wheels and caps are original. This is the only way to show these cars. The best look is always the original look. The new owner will receive all of the available records and documentation. This includes the original build sheet, service book, 2010 parts and accessory catalog ,and most importantly the original customer Identification Plate. The Port of Entry was Houston Texas. The purchasing dealer was Alamo Sports Cars and the original owner was from San Antonio, Texas. Consider this a hard to find opportunity to own a rare Triumph TR6 true sports car. It is an exceptional value. Don't let it slip away. The best to you and yours. Our reserve is fair and represents a wonderful value. This is the kind of investment you will not tire of.
