Short of any buy it now buyers, this car will SELL to the high bid! Let's start the bidding at just $1...... Up for auction is a 1997 740i luxury sedan. The exterior is BMW's Biarritz metallic blue and still shines up nicely. Interior is a light tan. It has a clean, clear title with no issues ready for another owner. I have driven this car around town and on the freeway and it still has tons of power and glides smooth and straight. With an original MSRP of around $75,000 USD, she came loaded and ready for the road! This car is still a very nice car, especially considering what you can get for your money here on eBay motors versus shopping retail. We specialize in eBay sales because it is a fast and effective way to sell hundreds of cars at once to a larger audience than we have here locally. Walking around the car, it is quite clean. The paint is in good shape, there are no major dents or dings, and the wheels look great. This car has lines that make it look great from any angle. The tires are newer pirellis with lots of tread left. The front bumper has some minor damage in the plastic- probably from road debris or parking curbs and one fog light is missing. The interior is also clean, with good leather seats, clean carpets, and door panels. This is a true luxury car with advanced features like a built in CD changer, wood grain trim, power heated front seats, and all the upgrades you would expect like tilt, cruise, etc. The trunk has tons of room- enough for 4 golf bags easily. The car also has a sunroof, traction control , and it has all power options including auto windows. The AC and heat work great, the radio works fine, there are no check engine lights. Issues we did find in this used car: the airbag light is on and the two rear passenger windows appear to need new regulators to work properly. At exactly 50 MPH (nothing under 50 or over 50) there is a small vibration in the front end which is probably a tire out of balance or a bearing. All of these issues are minor and we will fix all of them for the buy it now price of $7,500- anything lower than that you can save money and fix them on your own-- they appear to be issues consistent with a 13 year old car. Again, these are not apparently major issues but noted because we like to be upfront and don't want surprises. Just because other dealers might not mention issues, you can expect minor issues here and there with ALL used cars. One more item we do not plan to repair but worth noting is that the dash readout is faded and pixelated which is more the standard than the exception with older bmw's. This is an issue most drivers just live with and we'd recommend you do the same as it is too costly to justify replacing unless you happen to find a used one from another car. ODOMETER DISCLOSURE: We bought this car with the current paperwork showing an odometer reading of 55,627 but in Utah cars are titled as mileage exempt after 10 years old. They could probably not read the odometer very clearly because it is pixelated but I believe the car to have 155,627 miles, not 55,627-- regardless of what autocheck or the previous owners have reported. This is a good driving, great looking 740i that you could fly in and drive home today. Likewise if you choose to have it transported you can take it off the truck and drive, drive, drive!
