Auto firm suspension kicks in when; .3g or more cornering or braking force, when throttle is floored, when boost exceeds 10psi or when speeds exceed 80mph. Stock top speed 143 mph. Top speeds/gear 1st- 33mph 2nd- 56mph 3rd- 89mph 4th- 131mph 5th- 143mph Power windows, mirrors, doors, driver seat, trunk, fuel door. (have a stock power antenna to be installed) Cruise control, AC, Premium sound w/EQ. Custom gauges, custom painted interior panels and console, tires are BF Goodrich and have around 1/2 tread left. Has not been smoked in. McK/Kobel body kit- high quality injection molded ABS Plastic (Extremely RARE to find. Company out of business many years ago) The body kit is highly sought after for most turbocoupe owners. Battery, air filter and alternator were replaced 11-08, serpentine belt, oil change, rotated tires, rewired fog lights w/relay, thermostat 2-09, valve cover gasket, oil change, spark plugs 6-09 Extras included with the car include a spoiler, 3 new in box e-brake cables, gauge cluster, power antenna, misc. wiring, door and fender trim and a Haynes Repair Manual. I purchased the car on Nov. 1st 2008 and have used it as a daily driver and it's been a great car. Turned into a project that I haven't been able to finish. I've removed the door and body trim, shaved the "bird" emblems off the window pillars and shaved the "thunderbird" and "turbocoupe" off the deck lid. Molded the body kit to the body and filled in some bumper lines with bondo. Primed the car in May 09. There is a little surface rust from this winter as primer isn't waterproof. Needs a little body work with the body kit as well. Lots of minor things that need attention. Windshield has a crack, passenger window needs to be secured to the motor bracket, driver side mirror needs an interior part for the power mirror to work, cooling fans are wired to a toggle switch, drivers seat belt buckle stopped latching recently, installed a AC belt tensioner and needs a belt for the AC side, heater switch needs to be replaced (wired for only 1 speed or off right now), e-brake doesn't work (have new cables for it), speedometer doesn't work (replaced the vss and gauge cluster so it must be in the wiring), power steering has a leak but the pump works (haven't looked at it too closely). Starts/runs and shifts great. I bought the car from a guy who owned it for 8 years. He put 20k miles on it while he had it. The motor was rebuilt by the guy he bought it from. So I would assume the motor has less than 40k miles on the rebuild, and the body has around 195k. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as the car is for sale locally as well.
