Vehicle Detail
The '67 MGB is considered by many as the best of the MGBs. It's the last year of the lightweight "MARK I" cars which were built for preformance and handling. "Morris" is an outstanding example having undergone a $17,000+ restoration in the last three years. It's fully "sorted out" and is a very reliable, fun driver. The car comes with two binders of photos and documentation of the restoration. It was a solid S. Carolina car owned by the previous owner for over 20 years. He had started restoration with an engine rebuild, rebuilt speedo, etc., about 19,000 miles ago, hence it currently reads that number miles. The balance of the restoration which I did was finished about 5,000 miles ago. Some outstanding features: New Dayton Chrome Wire Wheels (wheels with new tires, new hub splines & new chrome knock offs alone were aprox. $2,300.00,) New tan Robbins premium cloth top with matching custom made top boot (value approx. $1,000.00) was professionally installed. The floor pans have been replaced with new pans from England and the interior was stripped and finished with the same original, lovely British Racing Green (Base coat-clear coat) as the exterior. On reassembly all new tight weave premium black carpet was installed (interior panels and seats had already been done in tan). The engine compartment is detailed and the car is equipped with new headers and performance exhaust system. There is too much to list, but please contact me with any questions. My age forces the sale. I hope you are successful in getting this valuable piece of British sports car history. It's a cut above most of the rest, an appreciating classic, and a joy to own and drive. Note: We will sell only in the contiguous United States. Digger
