Vehicle Detail

This MK1 Fiesta is in almost entirely original condition (except for the radio and wheels/tires- original 12's will be included). 42,597 miles. (Could be 142,597) Runs and drives well. Body is fairly straight (2 little dings on the driver's door- see picture), but it was repainted at the front left and right rear corners at some time in its history. Feeling around behind those panels, I can't find any filler or distortion, so whatever caused this must have been slight. The re-paint is fading compared to the paint on the rest of the car. The car still looks pretty good, but should be re-painted to preserve the body. Very little rust at this point! It has slight spots of surface rust, but nothing bad. The only place that may need actual rust repair is the rear hatch at the bottom of the window. The first actual rust bumps showed up there about 3 months ago, so it shouldn't have progressed too far yet. Pictures of all this on request. I also have an actual NOS rear hatch which the buyer will have the first option to buy if they want. Like all 78-80 Fiestas in this country, it has the 1.6L Kent style engine with a 4 speed manual trans, and both work fine. Somewhat unusual, this car has NON-power brakes, but I can include a power brake setup (master cyl, booster, and brake lines) if buyer wants. Interior is red and black and is in decent shape for the car's age. The driver's headrest is broken. The tire/wheel combo pictured actually rubs a bit over bumps so I would recommend either going back to the 12s, or properly rolling the fender lip. The windshield has a couple rock chips, but they're probably still fixable- I drove it that way and had no trouble. I have not driven the car much over the last 2 years, so there may be some small issues I've either forgotten about or have only surfaced recently. It's entirely likely that a carb cleanout may be in order, but it does start right up, and drives fine. I have more pictures so please do contact me for specific information or more detailed pictures of the car. Car is also for sale locally so I may end the auction early/cancel it if I get a local sale.On Apr-24-10 at 09:52:45 PDT, seller added the following information:I finally got more pictures both of my Fiestas for sale are on here: http://sbdeadelf.smugmug.com/Cars/2-Fiestas-on-Ebay/11939734_qLpfa#845592378_GU8WS
