Original military M38A1 jeep with complete restoration. The body and frame were completely removed, disassembled, sandblasted, and sealed before primer and correct color military paint was applied. The body is in excellent condition but there are a few imperfections, but absolutely No rust including the hat channels underneath. The engine was disassembled and inspected, and a new valve job was completed. The transmission and transfer case were disassembled and had a small parts kit install in both, however the trans will occasionally jump out of second gear during deceleration. The jeep has a new warn overdrive and can be included for an additional $800.00 if the buyer desires. A new electrical wiring harness has been install and the original 24 volt system functions perfectly. The only thing missing is the fording kit however I have collected some parts which are included. The jeep runs and drive like a new jeep and the steering is tight. I have had this jeep at several shows and in several parades and it gets a lot of attention. I am selling it to make room for the next project. The vehicle has a clear title, and is street legal. It will drive at 60 MPH on the highway and handles beautifully.Good luck bidding!!
