Here's an original R-Code 70 Mach1 with a standard bore 428 SCJ engine, 4spd Top Loader trans, and 9in rearend with 3.91 Trac loc. 88k actual miles, Marti report included. Car was built in 10/69 and engine was built in early 69. Frame is solid and has no rust holes, inside trunk area is solid and has no rust, original 1/4 panels are solid with just a little bubbling in 1 of them. Doors and fenders are rust free and solid. Floors are solid with only 1 hole by dimmer switch. Trunklid needs replaced, it soft. Original hood was removed from day 1 but the solid standard Mach1 hood can easily be cut, template included, and seal installed. Shaker air breathers are $450 new repro to complete the original look. All the original lower Mach1 trim included and undamaged. Rear spoiler and louvers are damage free. Missing front lower valance. Bumpers have no dents. Comes with new grill, all tuns signal, marker and driving lamps are nice. All glass is very good. Original seats need restored. 4spd center console is MINT. Dash is excellent with only a slit in speaker grill area. Fold down rear seat is complete. Instruments all work and are nice. Radio is missing. Correct steering wheel has been replaced as this car was drag raced for the 1st 5 years of it's life with dual quads(hence the hood being replaced). Two owner car with BOTH original Ford key sets. I don't believe it to be a drag pack car, although it came with an oil cooler and lines. Reinforced shock towers and VIN and Marti report authenticate the car. The engine has been decoded as an early 69 428 Super Cobra Jet in standard bore. Pistons say 428 super on them, crank turns freely and block preserved with grease. New rebuild kit included. Heads were rebuilt 15 years ago and stored in garage and have rusted some. ALL engine parts including intake, timing cover, valvetrain, and carb included. Complete clutch assembly, crossbar and brackets included. All you will need is a shifter, old boot is tore. Brakes still work. Excellent car to restore.
