I am selling this Spitfire for a friend who was forced to sell due to health reasons. The body is in good condition with no rust. It was repainted with the original color years ago and the paint is in fair condition (looks good when buffed up). Lights, chrome and trim all in good condition. The upholstery is almost new. The wood dash is aged with weathered and cracked surface. It runs good. I did a compression check and all cylinders were 140+. It doesn't burn oil, or smoke. The transmission shifts easily and smoothly. The clutch is smooth and tight. The brakes look fairly new and work well. No unusual noises. It has new tires, the canvas top is in excellent shape and the hard top is like new. The lights all work. The steering is tight and responsive. The car appears to be mechanically sound although it has been neglected. The engine compartment needs to be cleaned up. This could be a great little Spitfire with some tender loving care. It drives fine, starts with no problem, runs smooth and drives straight.
