I purchased this car new in December of 2002 from Galpin Ford in Van Nuys, California as a 57th birthday present to myself. I've been the only driver and the car has stayed in Southern California its whole life. I changed the oil and filter every 3,000 to 4,000 miles with Mobile One Synthetic 5W-20W. Also I believe I have met all factory required maintenance and immediately replaced, with new parts, any needed repairs/replacements. I have every receipt for everything that's ever been done to the car along with the origional window sticker and will provide all to the next owner. The miles are all freeway miles as I live in Glendale, CA and worked in Upland, CA. I am retired now but that's not why I'm selling the car. The reason I'm selling it is because I had left knee surgery in January and it is very difficult now for me to depress the high performance clutch. I'm going to have to get a car with an automatic transmission. This is the best car I've ever owned and I've owned many over my lifetime. I feel it runs as perfectly as the day I drove it off the new car lot. Also, the car is scary fast. I've had it to 120MPH in fourth gear, leaving two more forward gears to go. If you want a beautiful Cobra that runs and drives like it's almost new you will love owning this car. Also, it's never been wrecked. Someone bumped into the passenger side of me about 5 years ago so the right rear quarter panel has been fixed. I've included pictures of the sand pits on the hood, the rear rubber bumper that's been scraped up a bit from me backing into our retaining wall and other little knicks and bruises. The car is sold as is but truthfully I know of nothing it currently needs. The tires are Pirelli P275/40 ZR17 all purchased new at the same time about two years ago. Brakes are fine.
