1968 Ford F-100 long box four wheel drive (4X4). This truck is as close to brand new as you can find. When I say restored, I mean COMPLETE ground up, frame off restoration. NOT a quick paint job with new chrome valve covers and a seat cover! The pictures speak volumes. I will do my best to describe everything but I know I will forget something. This was a seven year project that was not rushed. Engine~ 1968 390 bored 30 over and balanced. Oil mods done to the oiling system. Crank is standard if I remember correctly. Camshaft is a custom ground shaft from Cam Research. Edelbrock intake with Barry Grant 650 Road Demon carburator. I know there is alot more about the engine but I have to keep it basic. Engine was built by Mr. SOHCEM. Thanks MITCH Transmission is a New Process Model 435 with granny low, completely rebuilt. Transfer case is a Dana model 24 also completely rebuilt. Axles are 9 inch in back and Dana 44 up front. Both completely rebuilt (seals, bearings, gears). Front axle is from a 1979 F150 with disc brakes and power steering. 3:50 gears front and rear. Interior~ Late 80's seat with center fold down and belts. Tinted windows even windshield, sliding rear window. 1979 F150 tilt steering wheel for a manual trans. (RARE). CD player mounted in the headliner with 4 speakers above and 2 in the dash. A clock and a tach mounted in the dash where the radio was. Chromed instrument cluster with white face gauges. Exterior~ The paint is acrylic enamel, special mix with NO pigments added to the pure white. In the sun it is blinding. Grille and headlight bezels are steel that have been chrome plated. The body has a 3 inch lift along with a factory frame lift. Overall~ This truck has had EVERY nut and bolt removed. Every part replaced, repaired,rebuilt, or repainted. The pictures are great, but in person the truck is an absolute work of art. There is sooo much more to tell but I do not have the space to write a book about it.
