Ok up for grabs one of my star cars! My 1951 Carrol Shelby used ( reputedly 3 times in 1951-52 in Texas) MGTD/C Mk2 Vintage Race car, this car has had a very interesting history from day one, it was born a "race car and will die a race car" please take time to read the the newspaper clippings, book articles and photos from the late 50's to late 60's. Truly a very rare chance to own part of racing history. But this economy is killing me so regretfully I have no choice but to sell her. I have listed her with NO RESERVE so it is not a waste of time bidding on her, she will have a new owner at the end of the auction and it could be you! Here's the highlights Original engine that still runs sweet Solid frame Nice original dash and gauges Tracked used from day one Tonneau cover Presention boards for showing her Good Chrome Museum stored in the Arkay collection in the early 70's then "lost" Bunch of documents, pictures and service history Original Handbook Brand new tires Very nice paint Completely original interior Superb body Runs great ( But probably too valuable and rare to use) Mentioned many times in the book Music from the Heart By "Rod Kennedy" who raced the car in the 60's and who went on to get a class with in a Lancia HF in 1970 at Sebring Signed book and dash by " Rod Kennedy" Superb Glass Steers, stops and drives good Clear Title in my name ready for export or a National sale I have no idea what she is worth but with NO RESERVE we will found out?? But she is a original vintage race car with reputedly Mr Carrol Shelby has one of her former drivers so deserves to make strong money so BID!! BID!! BID!!
