WOW WHAT A FIND! Up for sale a rare superstraight, rustfree, beautiful 82 Vanagon Diesel Adventurewagen! TONS OF PICS! ,check link below~ This is a diesel adventurewagen but also has upgraded fuel lines to run biodiesel, but the engine is locked up so it’s a prime candidate for an engine upgrade (1.8td, SVX, ej22?), OR IT WILL NEED A REBUILD. My plans was to put an suby ej22 in it , I do have a GOOD complete ej22 with computer, full wiring harness, etc. (uninstalled) For an extra $500! A very well kept van: Body is in great shape for its age! Very straight! little dings here and there, the only rust is a tiny spot under the windshield and another under the rear hatch glass, there is a scratch on the passenger side door, fiberglass top is in great shape, a little patch on the front, does not leak at all, all windows in great shape, not even a knick in the windshield! Interior is nice, the camping equipment was pulled and it was changed into a seven passenger van, rear seat folds into a bed. Has very nice tires, with correct load rating for the vanagon, also comes with the vanagon alloys! Brakes are in great shape, as is the tranny and clutch. All doors close and open very nice! All lights work. Odometer shows 95K! Van also comes with a cold start button option! Even the clock works! Needs a speaker on the driver’s side. Tons of carpeted storage uptop! Comes with a clear CA title, registration not due till Sept 2010! The van also comes with a bunch of paperwork for repairs done in the past! Comes with all the curtains, also has the matching curtains for the upper windows (not installed).
