Vehicle Detail
1954 Jaguar XK120 roadster, partly restored by a professional shop in New Jersey, and put in ideal, dry storage, for years. NO rust. Originally Light Grey with a Red interior, its Jaguar Daimler Heritage Cerificate comes with it. The body was stripped to bare metal, painted with the very best epoxy primer, then red, with a black interior. It has an XK120SE engine, which does not run, but is not frozen and is easy to rebuild, and a 120 gearbox, but they are not the ones original to this car. $25,000 was spent on the body, which is superb and all solid, with very good shut lines. The rest of the car will need to be restored. The chassis is completely solid, straight, and free of rust. It is missing its top bows, bumpers, emergency brake assembly, the horn button internals, and a few other minor parts. All of these parts are available easily online. - - - -This Jaguar is sold with only the parts that you see in the photos- please note this. The car is advertised elsewhere and the auction may be ended at any time, for any reasonable amount. Thank you. - Payment: A 10% non-refundable deposit must be received by me within 48 hours of the auction end (for which paypal is ok, at your expense). The balance must be by bank wire transfer and received by me within FIVE days of the auction end. So, if you are overseas, please have your bank arrangements ready for the end of the auction. I apologize for the firm conditions, but I have now had a bad experience with an overseas bidder, who has double identities. On Apr-11-10 at 15:17:38 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: Please read this; The previous auction for my Jaguar was "won" by a zero-feedback bidder from Eastern Europe, who never paid and never even emailed, after the auction. Not a word! So, if you have zero feedback, you MUST email me first, or your bid will be cancelled. A bidder who wins my auction, enters into a legal contract to buy my car. Any deadbeat bidder will be reported to ebay and, if possible, Interpol, for fraud. Thank you to all you legitimate bidders for your patience.
