Vehicle Detail
I am thinning more from my herd, getting rid of bikes that I will probably never get around to working on so I can focus on fewer projects (including a massive house restoration). For auction here is a 1974 CB 200T, the twin version of the 200. A very cool bike with a great 70's look to it...original paint, vinyl, and chrome. I love the details on this bike, with the color and the vinyl band running the center of the tank. A good deal of these poor bikes have been chopped up and turned into "cafe racers", with a lot of them being ruined in the process. This is your chance to get one that is pretty original, with the typical patina you would expect of a bike this age, and waiting to be ridden with a little effort. As far as the condition is concerned, I have owned this bike for a few years and have made no attempt to start it. It has been sitting in a nice dry carriage house awaiting attention, but my other bikes always seemed to come first. Just to repeat it so there is 0 confusion and to be as transparent as possible, I have never tried to run or go through this bike. It does have compression however. Additionally, I DO NOT have a title for this bike. I know the listing says clear title, but the option is not there for no title. That is how I purchased it. I will provide a bill of sale with the bike for the future owner to register in their own state. There is no reserve on this bike. I have set the minimum, so a single bid will take this bike home. I believe the bike is worth much more in parts than my minimum, but I couldn't bring myself to part it out. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility as I will not deliver or ship this bike. Please be aware of shipping costs to your location before bidding. This can add a significant amount to your purchase price if you can't pick the bike up yourself. The bike is easily accessible for pickup and I am happy to meet you or your shipper to make that process smooth. No scams please. - I've been on ebay a long time and know the tricks. PayPal/Cashier's Check/or Cash on pickup. I will take a personal check but only if it has cleared before pickup. Good luck bidding and I am always available to answer your questions! On Feb-10-19 at 14:37:45 PST, seller added the following information: Just FYI - if you have 0 bid history, are an international bidder, or have been an eBay member for less than 4 months, I will cancel your bid. In the short time that this listing has been live I have already received a share of obvious scam artists. I'm sorry for any legitimate bidders that might be affected, but that is just how it will need to be.
