I'm the original owner of this 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. It has spent its entire life here in south Florida. As such, any underneath rust is limited to "light surface". I'm a non-smoker. This Jeep has always been very well maintained. The engine oil and filter have been changed every 3,500.-4,500. miles. Only 100% synthetic motor oil has been used. The front seats and the back seat have always been covered. As such, they look like new - no rips, tears, holes or stains. The upholstery color is green with tan trim. Within the last 3,000. miles: new headlights / new windshield and seal / new serpentine belt / new clutch, throw-out bearing and pressure plate / engine oil and filter changed / new Exide battery. The engine runs smooth and strong. The transmission shifts smoothly and effortlessly. The ride is great. The stock radio has been replaced with a Kenwood model KDC-HD942U. It has a removable faceplate. The (four) alloy rims are in very good condition. This Jeep has never been driven off-road. The original jack is included. Five wheel locking nuts (with the "key" nut) are included. Only one minor accident with damage.... At low speed, the other driver drove though his stop sign in a McDonalds parking lot. He hit the passenger side's door area. All of the damage was covered by his insurance company and all of the damage was professionally repaired. It originally came with both tops - soft and hard. Only the soft top is being offered in this auction. The two side windows are stock. The frame, the soft top and the rear window are Smittybilt after-market. The top is in good condition. Because the Jeep originally came with a hard top, the electrical switches and wiring for the rear wiper arm, the rear defroster and the rear window washer system are already in place - along with the washer fluid tubing. There are scratches and a few dents. The worst dents - located on the driver's side pillar - are pictured. The plastic fenders and several other areas have lost some of their clearcoat. One section of the hood contains a shallow depression (where my son's girlfriend sat on it). The hood's clearcoat is not peeling. The tires do have some tread remaining, however, they are all over 10-years-old and should be replaced. There is no spare tire & rim. The heater works great. The A/C blows cool, at best. That's probably because I never recharged the A/C system. The passenger door handle is stuck. It won't open from the outside, only from the inside. The hinge side of the center console's door is broken. The door can be locked and it can also be lifted off. It just doesn't pivot on the hinge side. The center console's woofer's audio goes "in and out". There is an electrical problem. I'm not an electrician so I can't fix it. And I don't want to take it to a shop. The electrical problem has to do with the front right lights - the headlight, the blinkers and the fog lamp. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. Most of the time, they don't. Also, the top center interior light stays on. As such, I disconnect the battery so it doesn't drain. This electrical problem does not stop me from driving the vehicle. I'm embarrassed to say that the dome light switch (located on the directional blinkers arm) was left in the "on" position. On Jan-23-19 at 08:52:53 PST, seller added the following information: I just found the paperwork to verify the following procedures: On 16 November 2016 @ 112,573. miles -Replace front brake pads, replace rotors, and bleed brakes.Replace master cylinder and booster.Replace spark plugs and valve cover gasket.Replace right tie rod.Total cost (not including tax) = $1,256.00. On 22 March 2017 @ 116,758. miles -Install new clutch assembly kit which includes new pressure plate, new throw-out bearing with new retaining clips, and new pilot bearing clutch disc. Resurface flywheel.Total cost (not including tax) = $1,071.19. The paperwork will be placed in the glovebox.
