I'm selling a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T 2-door coupe in running condition. The registration is paid current but it's incomplete because it's not smogged. The check engine light is on so it won't pass smog until that is cleared. I had the code pulled at Autozone and the code references the EGR valve. If the battery is disconnected to reset the CPU, it clears the check engine light for a period of time so I suppose it might be possible to sneak it through smog that way, but I don't know. I really don't have the time or desire to mess with it anymore so I'm getting rid of it. The engine runs and it drives good, though it does need some TLC. It sounds like the engine has a low end knock which is a recent development. The battery is weak and will need to be replaced. The suspension has creaks and groans from sitting for awhile. The rear view mirror is discolored and will need to be replaced. The front bumper cover is torn on the bottom as can be seen in the pictures. The interior has a few minor tears, but overall is in decent condition. There are some electrical issues such as the automatic mirror switch and adjustment doesn't work. The clear coat is peeling away due to age and sitting in the elements. I had an amplifier in the car so there are audio wires run along the door sills to the trunk which connect to the speakers, so those will need to be re-routed for the speakers to work, or another amplifier can be installed. The car is being stored in Modesto at my parents' house but can be seen at any time, just let me know ahead of time. Car is being sold as-is, all sales final, so please ask questions ahead of time. $100 deposit due within 24 hours, balance due within 7 days. Car must be picked up in Modesto and driven or trailered to your location. I've been able to get a one-day moving permit from the DMV so that shouldn't be an issue.
