1979 Honda CBX

I'm a private collector of CBX and V 65 Magnas, I'm letting some of my collection go because it's time, no room, and I'm getting too old to ride them. This CBX is in almost original condition, The aluminum has not been stripped and polished,The tank is original and is clean inside The frame has not been re-sprayed and has the usual nicks easily touched up with a tiny brush.The battery is new. The original exhaust on the CBXs were the weak spot, they rusted out even in storage, they were replaced with the ones you see and sound and look better than the homely CBX pipes. I did replace the plugs, right side switches, and dried up fuel lines, and I had the carbs rebuilt with new jets, bowl gaskets and with what ever came with the kits.The tires are great the electrics all work, turn signals, horn, dash ect. The original alternator works great and shows charging, that's a first for me. I put a black front fender on to see what it would look like. I think this is the first two tone CBX on the planet, and I love it. I put the original fender and tail piece back on as the new pictures show. The seat is original looks like new.The brake disc's have very little wear no gouges or groves and original. The bike had no rust and obviously kept in side.The previous owner claims the mileage is correct, and all the evidence shows it is legit. The engine makes no noise when running and starts on the first turn.This is about as original as it gets, and being 40 yrs old it looks great as the photos show. The price is fair, and the CBXs are hard to come by these days, so I will entertain an offer but don't look for a miracle. You can call me if you like, and thanks for lookin in.........Dick
