Recently acquired from private collection of 15 exotic cars, this is one of the ones that was driven and registered. Previous owner retired and moved out of country. Last on the road in 2016, starts stops and shifts perfectly, but will need some light maintenance. No drips or puddles under car, but oil pan and rear dif gaskets are showing some residue from sitting. The electrics have been gone through and all the grounds have been refreshed, even all of the 45 fuses have been replaced with new. Original Monterey Stereo works on left channel, rear hatch button is intermittent but fully functional with key, AC has not been tested, heater blows well on defrost, not as strong on vents, previous owner by-passed heater control valve( 30 bucks) Electric seats, windows, sunroof, headlights, wipers, directionals are all strong. It has a repaired crack in front spoiler, rear spoiler really nice, all glass is clear and original, It has been professionally re-sprayed years ago in the original color and looks stunning, the door jams and under hood is original, it has a few chips from moving around. The leather is nice and the carpets are as well, very little cosmetics are needed, mostly a tune up and drive it to burn up the last few gallons of older gas. The inside smells fresh, and the paint shines superbly, the pics actually are a little dusty, but shows it has a deep rich shine. I have driven up the road a few times(no plates) and it is strong and powerful, exhaust is in great shape and original, sounds great and the ground shakes when you stand behind it, it is rather intimidating!! It is still titled to the Trust who owned the collection, so it comes with un-encumbered paperwork. I bought to keep but employment issues are making this now available, Tires are newer and look new, ran smooth up to the 70mph I drove them to. Dash looks good, but a couple of straight line cracks are present, but they do not distract from the interior being near mint, the headliner is great and firm. steering is agile and has no issues, the steering wheel has some threads that have loosened, but the leather is supple and you can repair or not. Timing belts have been done within the last 10k miles. This is a nice adult owned, non molested original 928s that should provide years of investment quality ownership, and buckets of fun when you take it out for a spin. This is the first ownership change since 1999. no accidents or repairs, This has great provenance. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS ARE WELCOME.
