This is an absolute auction , if it only sells for 500 , so be it . This van was discovered in a storage unit , North San Diego . The eccentric man that owned it died and facility wanted everything removed . I do not have the title , a bill of sale will be given . ( not to say it won't be found in the other 2 storage units we are clearing out with a million pieces of paper and boxes. ) It was last registered in 2008 according to insuirance a paper I found in it . Photos show exactly as it is after removed from storage . There may be more parts and stuff for it in the other 2 units & buyer is entitled to them if we find them . Vin #23105239079053800 . As bad as these photos look , the overall condition of this project is NO RUST ! only slight surface rust here and there . He took a piece of sheet metal and screwed it over the top of where the original slide back canvas or whatever was there . The top and sides and back are straight and sliding door functions okay . I can guarantee the engine runs because the owners of Adjacent storage units told me it was running when he parked it . I cannot tell you the condition of motor and trans obviously . The metal on rear quarter panels was cut out because this guy was going to put vented panels there . What a jerk . When he cut it , he did flare the edge of cut metal inward . The front end has a few dents and on drivers side , you can see where someone bondoed in an area , not thick , but its there . As bad as it looks , keep in mind , this is NO RUST BUCKET . I looked under sides , front and back and no rust out mess anywhere . It only makes sense that there would be more parts for it in other storage areas but that's down the road . What you are bidding on is what is in the photos .
