Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...  I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. Up for a NO RESERVE auctions is a 2002 Subaru Legacy GT wagon. I would rate the exterior of this Subaru to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking wagon. It is finished in Regatta Red over Gray interior, which is a good color combination. The red finish shows some age but is acceptable. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this Legacy GT, you can clearly see that the clear coat is off of the front of the hood. Aside from that, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. With the exception of one small piece of trim missing in front of the LR wheel, all of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. I would also rate the interior of this Legacy to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The power windows, locks, seat, sunroof and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds great through the factory speakers. There is an in-dash CD changer, too. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. It is too cold to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but I can tell you that the heater works very, very well. The cargo area has its original protective liner and is impressively sized. Throughout the interior, wood accents give the cabin a warm and comfortable feel. This Legacy GT is a true pleasure to drive. Mechanically, this Legacy GT wagon appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.5L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times and feels strong. I used this car to run errands one day, and it is a great driver. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The AWD system is tested and working properly. Subaru AWD gives this Legacy GT confidence to venture out into winter weather with complete confidence. If you're looking for a solid AWD wagon, this Legacy GT would be a great pick.
