Vehicle Detail
2006 BMW 325ci - For Sale By Owner I am listing this BMW 325 convertible for a family friend who has owned this as a 3rd car. He is selling due to chronic knee and other health problems that prevent him from being able to use the car any longer. It's a fun and reliable car at a great price point! I just ran a Carfax and it shows a very clean and well documented history. The car was sold new in South Carolina and then came to the Central GA area in 2014. I have a thick file of service records going back to 2015, but the Carfax shows a lot of service history going back to new. We have both key fobs and all the original owners manuals. Also, the jack and all tools are present in the trunk. The car has just over 103,300 miles. The engine is the well known and silky smooth 2.5l inline six with an automatic transmission. Everything works as it should and there are no leaks or dash lights. The top works just as it should with no problems. I've driven the car about 40 miles over the last 2 weeks and the only issue I found is that the aftermarket Kenwood radio has a fuzzy signal at times with the local AM/FM stations. The car shifts, accelerates, drives, and stops tight and straight and with no issues or noises. The wheels are all very clean with no curb rash and the tires are a matching set of Bridgestone Turanza's with approx. 50% tread remaining. Cosmetically the car is pretty clean although the driver's seat and center armrest show some wear in spots. Also the left foot resting petal has some cracking. On the exterior, the front left bumper cover is ever so slightly loose where it joins the fender. Hard to notice but wanted to point it out. A previous owner also had a custom pinstripe put on which appears to be painted on. There is an aftermarket air intake installed and I believe the strut tower brace is aftermarket as well. There is no spare tire as it's my understanding these cars came with run flat tires from the factory. The car was just fully serviced by a local European auto shop so it's ready to go. I can take and send additional pictures, so if interested just let me know. The car is located in Macon, GA, which is about an hour South of the Atlanta airport. Car is sold as is with no warranty. Local inspections certainly welcome. Payment will need to be made to the owner (my friend) who has clear title in hand. Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early if necessary. Bidders with less than a 5 positive feedback rating will have their bids cancelled. Please have funds ready ahead of time!! I'm available to answer any questions so just let me know. Thanks for looking and good luck! ***In an effort to be as transparent as possible, I saw a rear end collision report show up on the Autocheck. However, this was not picked up by the Carfax report I ordered the other day. I personally know the prior owner who is local. This prior owner sold the car to my friend, also local. I spoke with her and she said the car was parked in front of her house and was hit in the rear at a slow speed. She said the damage was not bad and it was repaired using all OEM parts by Troopers Collision in Macon, GA. I apologize for not knowing about this when I originally created this listing as I make every effort to disclose any and everything when I am selling something like this.
