Vehicle Detail

Please read entire listing. 1959 Plymouth Custom Suburban 6 passenger station wagon. 318 Torqueflite. Very Rare car! A well maintained car originally from Washington State but lived most of its life in California. Car is in excellent driver condition. Paint is nice. Engine runs strong, trans shifts fine. Recent tires and brake work full tune up. Interior in excellent condition for the age of the car. Car has recent exhaust work w/flow masters and sounds great! Tires are Coker radials and are basically new including a brand new spare. New windshield. Some bondo but not bad. The car is really solid with what looks like original undercoat or at least old undercoat. I took off the sill plates and pulled the mat back enough without splitting it. There are silver dollar sized rust holes by where the front seat bracket bolts in on both sides. On the drivers side right by where the sill plate attaches there is a 6 inch long by 1 inch rust hole. On the back passenger floor there is a nickel sized puncture hole. That was all I was able to find without gutting the whole car. The cargo area under the was POR 15 coated when you lift up the access panel so no issues there. Linkage for the tailgate was broken. I have replacement parts to remedy this but have not had a chance to install. The car comes with a box of misc. parts and a rare Mopar rear windowscreen w/box. Here is where it is at. Had the car last out in June and ran amazing. Had it in a cruise night and it ran really great in stop and go traffic. Then the car sat for 4 months and now only goes about a foot or two in either gear before locking up. It could be the brakes, it could be the transmission. I am not a mechanic and am not sure. So currently I am selling the car AS-IS.
