1964 Dodge Power Wagon WM300 4x4 with only 44,655 Original Miles! This Power Wagon was purchased NEW by the Dodgingtown Fire Company #1 in Newtown, Connecticut in 1964 for $3,667.00. It was in service as a brush fire response truck until 1994 when it was decommissioned. It was then sold to the 2nd owner with only 8,000 miles. It has gone under an extensive well documented restoration over the years including a conversion to a Hercules 3.7L Turbo Diesel motor in 2007. Absolutely no expense was spared on this classic. I purchased it in 2009 to add to my collection and have really enjoyed owning it. I just do not have time to drive it anymore. This vehicle has a very exciting and colorful history and comes with a shoebox full of documents/receipts/manuals etc. that date back to 1964. The restoration process was outlined in detail with receipts, journals and photos. I have hundreds of additional photos available upon request. There are still pictures of this Power Wagon on the Dodgingtown Fire Co. website! This is a well restored & drivable classic with an incredible history. I am a private seller, not a dealer. Here are just a few of the many upgrades added during the restoration: -Original factory 10,000LB Braden winch- working 37" Goodyear tires from a HMMVW-like new-Peterson front disc brakes and locking hubs-NP420 4 speed manual transmission with NP205 transfer Case-Hercules 3.7L Turbo Diesel with Garrett air to air intercooler that produces 125 hp and 268 lb-ft of Torque-Entire exhaust replaced with a new MARS 2.5" system-Ether cold weather system & engine block heater-Ray Suiter power steering-New Bostrum Viking T-Bar suspension seats (Standard equipment on diesel Wagons) bolted right on to the existing bench seat mount-Over the shoulder seat belts from International Truck with tensioning boxes-Upgraded Delco Remy 12V, 150 amp alternator - 2 New Interstate batteries 2018-Custom folding camper frame designed to attach to the flatbed.
