1969 Honda CB

1969 HONDA CB450K1E..Know as Hellcat in Canada and is a special,not USA, import.The bike was believed to have been imported by a Navy person and has a Virginia ID tag on front down tube. The bike is titled by this tag. The frame number is hard to read,but looks like CB450K1000380 and engine number is CB450KIE000389,which match very closely as is usual Honda practice. The speedo shows 3222 KM`s, little less than 2000 miles and is believed accurate.Overall condition of the nearly 50 year old bike is excellent. Everything works as it should. The chrome on the rear rim is peeling in several places, mufflers have surface rust ,but NO rust thru and some minor rusting on other chrome parts.This is a original condition bike so it shows normal wear. I have not been able to find a exact model of this bike in my search. It appears to have a short CL type front fender,k2 tail light and side covers..It does have gray cables,k1 tank,seat,rectifier, and other parts. The bike runs,drives,starts and idles very good. From info I can find bike were made in 1968 and a few 69`s and were made in very few numbers, less than 2000. This is probably the second most collectible,next to the ko black bombers of the 450 series. This is a rare bike which can be ridden and shown and keep people guessing...I will help with shipping in any way I can and will deliver to a shipper in Pensacola Fl if needed. Any more info on this bikes orgin would be welcomed...
