Bought it last fall from a good friend who chose to no longer go riding. I'm a dyed in the wool Norton guy, and as Fun and Beautiful as this Triumph is, I just don't have the room for it. The Good: engine runs fantastic having a recent top-end rebuild prior to me - Brand New fork tubes, seals and gaiter, Amal floats, Tyres & Tach drive, Oil and more - $675. worth of work done by a highly reputable Triumph shop in NH just last month. The not so bad: The un-torn Seat, side covers and Paint on Tank & Frame are pretty much original with expected age and patina and the Speedo, Tach and Bars are not original and it will blow the main fuse when the light switch on the headlamp is thrown - It was suggested that it is the switch? This Triumph is not a concourse queen but easily could be - but is happier as a daily rider. If interested, I will offer a Buy It Now well below the NADA value of this year and model - if someone wants it Now. Contact me - I will try to upload a video of it running too.
