for your consideration: hard to find with original exhaust and solo cowl seat 1987 GSX-R 1100 motorcycle with only 25010 miles. I purchased this motorcycle last spring and after going through the bike I took off all the fairings and cleaned the motorcycle from top to bottom after which I replaced the following with new parts. battery, spark plugs, air filter, engine oil, engine oil filter, rear view mirrors, windscreen and turn signals. I also purchased a new set of chain sprockets, chain, front and rear Kenda tires which haven't been installed yet but they do come with the bike as well. motorcycle runs strong and shifts smoothly, the only mechanical issue that I can find is the carburetor choke. it must be held manually for a couple minutes until the motorcycle warms up but once the engine is warm the motorcycle runs fine. local pick up and inspections are welcome but no test rides will be allowed unless a full deposit is made in cash. potential buyer must have a valid drivers license with a motorcycle endorsement and agrees to forfeit deposit and purchase the motorcycle if he/she crashes or drops the motorcycle during test ride. a payment of $100.00 must be made at time of purchase and the balance must be paid either in cash, certified cashier's check or personal check but motorcycle will not be released until cashier's check or personal check clears the bank.
