I enjoy buying cheaper classics that need a little bit of work and putting them back on the road for the next happy buyer.. I bought this vehicle and it needed a lot of work I put about $1500 into it and 10 hours of my own labor..and here we are a beautiful driving classic 31-year-old vehicle that drives very well ( straight as an arrow, no wobbling, ) shocks are old but feel new...... car will speak for itself with the test drive if you'd like to come see ... all new brakes and master cylinder ,new starter, interior is like new (no tears stains original mats) ,new alternator ,new fuel pumps ,new fuel pump relay, new fuel filter, brand new muffler and cat , alpine stereo, new spark plugs, all this car needs is a good home and maybe a paint job On the hood...and some further tinkering if you want to take the car to the next level. Transmission oil and filter was done at safeguard on Dartmouth street, and rear diff fluid was changed, recent oil change not leaking oil, new plastic rocker moldings , frame is in great shape. A/C was converted to r32 and it works beautifully! I am a very honest seller I will tell you everything I know about the vehicle and will be happy to take you for a test drive ... car is rated to get 30 mph I am ready to sell so I can start another car project . Perfect for a classic car guy or first time car for teenager, would prefer to sell to a Mercedes enthusiast ..clean title in my name. GOOD LUCK!! tires are in good shape... sometimes car runs a little rough when cold, but starts right up everytime and drives smoothly when up to temp.. CASH OR PAYPAL ONLY NO SCAMMERS DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR IF YOU CANT ARRANGE TO PICK IT UP, CAR CAN SAFELY BE DRIVEN WHEREVER YOU NEED TO GO https://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/1987/mercedes-benz/260e/4-door-sedan/Values rear windows don't work, sunroof works perfectly and front two windows work perfectly. haven't had time to tinker with it. all door locks work perfectly and door handles. a couple body rot holes under the windshield wiper fluid under the hood, not visible from outside( I treated and painted, another small hole on other side). side floor rocker panel moldings were covered with oem Mercedes plastic moldings, covered up the infamous rusty jack holes which are rusted shut. hardly any cosmetic rust visually due to those plastic covers. sometimes abs light comes on at high speed, may be dirty sensor.. brakes are still 100% safe and functional. Small whistle noise is heard at 65mph, sounds like a hood noise or something nothing severe, haven't had chance to diagnose EMAIL ME WITH QUESTIONS... come see the car or text call 774-930-1337
