Vehicle Detail
For sale here is a 2000 Triumph Daytona racing bike. It is in excellent condition. The motor was specially built for racing, has only been run on racing fuel or aviation fuel, and is reliable and very powerful. The suspension has been set up by a professional for someone weighing around 175. It has a Penske rear shock and GSXR1000 front forks. I bought the bike this way from a racer who used it in vintage racing events. I put on new Dunlop Q3 tires 2 years ago, they have only been on the track once. I put on new brake pads front and rear and replaced the rear brake rotor. The bike has no lights and therefore is not currently street legal. This is my 3rd track bike (had a Honda CBR600 and an Aprilia RSV1000R) and it is the fastest and best handling bike in my experience. Alas, I laid it down at the track within weeks after I bought it (entirely my fault, nothing to do with the bike), repaired the body work, and haven’t had the opportunity for another track day since. Being 65 years old I have now decided to pass this bike and parts along to someone who can make good use of it. I have South Carolina titles for the track bike and the extra frame (also a 2000 model). I have a complete second engine carefully packaged. The second engine has a damaged crank and one damaged piston. I would like to sell it all together but will consider selling part of the lot.
