Up for your consideration is a beautifully restored 1979 Honda CR125R Elsinore Red Rocket. I have been building this bike for 2 years finding all the NOS parts I could find and purchasing numerous small NOS hardware directly from Honda. Highlight of the nos parts found was the Famous 23" Bridgestone M15 3.00-23 Claw tire. These tires are impossible to find, but even harder to find was a nos back tire, which I tried in vain to find with no luck. The rear tire is the only part on this bike that is not an original Honda part !!!. Nos parts added to this low hour bike are , Hard to find air filter which I bought from Japan, throttle, brake and clutch cables, front/rear sprockets, steel roller guide, seat cover, sprocket side crankcase cover, nos owners manual, grips and numerous small parts hardware. Original parts on this bike is the untouched dent free tank with the original decals and stickers. The plastics are original also, they have been nicely restored, being original they do have some slight scratches here and there. Hubs, spokes and rims are otiginal. All the stickers and decals are original. The suspension on bike is still in incredible condition. The rubber bumpers on the rear shocks are still soft and pliable, both front and rear have still have good dampening. Bike ran pretty good when I bought it from original owner who told me it had sat for awhile in his garage. It is still on its original bore. I have not started it up since finishing restore as it has sat in my house since then, this is a show bike for sure. You will have a hard time finding a more original 79 Honda cr125 than this one, If you could find a nos rear tire, this would be an almost new off the floor bike. bike does not have a title and will be sold with a bill of sale. bike is sold as is with no warranties, no returns. buyer to arrange own shipping but I will assist as much as possible. a $500 non-refundable deposit is required immediately after auction end and balance within 3 days end, Paypal or cash is only payment accepted. local pick up is ok.
