Awesome café racer style motorcycle! This bike as RAW. It has personality and a visceral feel to it that you can't find in a modern bike. 1978 CB750 F, also known as the Supersport. This year is a SOHC (single overhead cam), and air-cooled. This particular bike was acquired while in original and excellent condition, having been stored inside for a number of years. The airbox was removed along with the fairings. Carbs were rebuilt and tank was de-rusted and thoroughly cleaned with phosphoric acid, which leaves a rust-resistant coating. Plugs and caps were replaced, and she fired right up! Engine and transmission have been in good working order, so no internal work has been performed, aside from changing oil and filter. I have ridden it for the last year or so, and the 750 continues to run well with no issues. The bike has been modified to a cafe racer / brat style. I customized it myself, Comfortable ride from the custom made, natural leather seat. Steel hoop welded into the back. External oil tank. Custom made leather "satchel," munted to side of bike, which matches the seat. Progressive shocks and springs all the way around, installed in the last year. Four-into-one exhaust system with internal baffle, which provides a gutteral growl. USB port and cell phone holder on the handlebar, for GPS when you need it (comes in handy). K&N style pod filters, with jets upsized to accommodate. Tank was painted in automotive grade satin black. In good condition, except for one small ding. Minor oil leak, which seems to be from the head, but otherwise this bike is in great shape. 31,007 miles on the odometer. I have too many toys, so am letting this one go. Couple of things I would address in the next few years if I were to keep this motorcycle... Rear tire rubs the hoop a bit when going over large bumps. Same with front fender. Neither is something you can feel when riding, and neither has been anything I've been concerned enough about to correct, but should be addressed at some point. Clean title, in hand.
