Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Honda Civic EX with just 162k miles and a BRAND NEW CLUTCH. I would rate the exterior of this Civic to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in Satin Silver Metallic over Gray cloth interior behind professionally tinted windows. The silver finish shows some fading on the roof, which is common at this age and well hidden by the silver color, compared to other colors. There are a few small very small rust bubbles still under the paint, which is also common at this age and mileage. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. The glass and lenses are all intact. The factory wheel covers are all present and show well for their age. The tires are nice and have average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Civic EX came in. I would rate the interior of this Civic to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. You can see in the photos that the cloth is loose on the RF door card, which is common at this age. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The cloth seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. The rear windows do not seem to work. The front two windows, power locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player which sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. This Civic comes with the original owner's manual as well as the manual to the radio. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Civic came in. Mechanically, this Civic appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.7L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The engine feels smooth and makes plenty of power. With the desirable 5 speed manual transmission, this Civic is pretty entertaining to drive. As I stated earlier, this Civic has a BRAND NEW CLUTCH. It came in with a slipping clutch. I normally don't service vehicles before sale but it made sense on this one because I can get this type of work done for probably 75% less than if you'd pay a garage retail price for parts and then $100/hr for labor. Needless to say, the clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the five speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for a reliable car that is economical on gas and pretty well optioned, this Civic should be at the top of your list. With a brand new clutch just installed, you should be able to drive this car for basically the cost of gas and oil changes plus wearable items like tires and brakes. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery.
