Vehicle Detail
I hate this. But, I need the funds for something more important... For sale is my 2003 BMW 540i //M Sport. Imola Red. 1 of 7 built in this color . Possibly the only surviving one. I am the second owner and I have meticulously and lovingly maintained this auto. Again, I hate to let it go. It currently has 138k miles and will go up some since it is my daily driver. It has never left me stranded and has very few mechanical or cosmetic flaws. I have owned it for 6+ years and since it had 85k on the clock. I have replaced: Clutch Alternator Radiator (Last week) Expansion tank Ignition switch Rebuilt ENTIRE front end this spring Replaced ignition coils Fixed pixels on MID Fixed the common “twisted seat” issue new drilled Zimmerman rotors with ceramic pads mediabridge Bluetooth interface All oil changes on time Changed all BMW’s “lifetime” fluids to Red Line products I love this car and it is an absolute blast to drive. Bar none the best feeling car I have ever driven. The driving experience is the best thing about this car. And the only vehicle I have owned that got more attention was my 1965 Fleetwood lol! I maintained this car as if I was going to keep it forever. Because I planned to. I would prefer the new owner be a BMW enthusiast. If you are not familiar with the 2003 540i //M Sport please see https://kenrockwell.com/bmw/540.htm If you have any questions please text or call 469 900 5253 The car is now 15 years old. So, it does have some imperfections. But, with that being said... The car is brilliant and you won't be disappointed. Message me for a larger photo album. EDIT: I went to my favorite stretch of back roads after work today. Got a little misty eyed at the thought of letting him go...the sounds this car makes!!!
