Vehicle Detail
I purchased my FJ in April of 2016 with ~15,000 miles and some front end only damage. Here is the history... it was purchased in Kawkawklin, MI in March of 2014, it was shortly thereafter in the accident and ended up stored indoors in Romeo, MI until I purchased it in April of 2016 with all intent to keep it for a lifetime. See report, minor damage. I was told and confirmed, the truck took a slight off center right hand front lower hit. NO airbags were deployed, NO windshield damage. It ran and drove perfect. I meticulously disassembled the damaged area, and found no surprises. The only major repair was a slight tweak to the RH horn, new OEM core support and front partial apron section (I did not want to fix the old ones, as I wanted everything right). From there I replaced the bumper, bumper cover, bumper caps, grill, RH head light, RH parking light, hood extension, some miscellaneous small parts and the radiator and condenser (these two could have been reused, but again, I wanted everything perfect). All parts are OEM, down to the clips and screws, all parts with VIN's match. After the repairs, I had a front end alignment done and was told it was only slightly out of alignment - nothing more than expected with 16,000 mile of normal road use. I have since added remote start and three auxiliary lights - AUX Light 300 LED light bar, OEM fog lights upgraded to HID (I have the "FJ" black covers), halo lights and upgraded headlights to LED - all wiring and relays professionally installed, every connection soldered and heat shrunk, no shortcuts taken. I have since driven the FJ and now has approximately 28K miles, it has not seen snow or off-road. The interior is near perfect with two sets of OEM floor coverings. There are a few light and minor scratched in the payload area from use. I have not discovered any chips or dings on the body. The radio was replaced under warranty by Toyota due to an internal fan making noise. There still is warranty on the drive train until March 6, 2019. It needs nothing, battery, tires, belts, etc. all in great condition. I have tried to give as much detail as possible... this is a fantastic FJ with no issues, no BSR's, runs and drives like new! I have personally seen vehicles with much more extensive and structural damage get "fixed" and sold with no disclosures, this one you know the details. I am only selling as we unfortunately need a bigger SUV to haul the family and toys. We really hate to see it go! Good Luck, and you will not be disappointed! An FJ with this mileage, content and year sell for well into the 30's, due to the title status, my reserve is considerably lower.
