This is a extremely well maintained 2002 original Prius. We purchased and upgraded it for our daughter to drive but another opourtunity presented itself so our loss is your gain. Some upgrades include a professional two stage repaint with all trim and handles removed for a near factory outcome. Every blemish was removed externally. The interior is near perfect with a new set of factory floor mats. Mechanically there were many upgrades including a reman traction battery, the low voltage battery with a gel type, the AC system including new compressor and belt and system filter and dryer, all under hood maintenance including traction motor service and cooling and brake fluids. Brakes are very recent and many suspension upgrades including hub bearings and struts. The fuel tank/pump assembly is a factory Toyota replacement and the relay that powers it. It recently passed inspection and has a two year sticker on it for New Jersey. Again, we planned on keeping this car and our daughter was going to take it to school so we wanted it to be as reliable as Toyota’s are known for. Our loss is someone’s gain as we knew going into it the investment was never to be realized through selling it. Our reserve is lower then what we spent on the body/paint repair so the rest is certainly our loss. We could keep it but insuring an additional vehicle that will get almost no use is of no gain to us. It should be driven and enjoyed as it is a very nice driver and a joy to operate. Please be serious about a bid as we do want to move it and do not want any tire kickers slowing that process down .
