For sale is a 1973 Volvo P1800ES. It has a little over 177,000 miles on it. I have owned this car for 12 years. I had it repainted summer of 2010. The body is in great shape, there is no rust other than 3 small areas that are showing a little bit of surface bubbling. This are in the photos. It has had yearly oil changes since I bought it. I replaced the windshield when it was repainted. When I bought the car we pulled the engine and went through it and replaced all of the gaskets. We also replaced the steering knuckle. The hood sits slightly high at the passenger side front corner due to having the hinge welded back on, it functions perfectly, just sits a bit high. We replaced the clutch 4 years ago. I replaced the front seats and they are in excellent shape as are the rear seats. I removed the original fan due to a bad fan clutch and replaced it with an electronic fan. The original fan will be included. The aluminum trim that runs down the side of the car was replaced when it was painted and are in excellent shape. I had the wheels painted in 2012 in a Mercedes silver. The car runs beautifully, i replaced the battery, coil, and distributor points a couple of months ago. It is an excellent driver and if you are looking for somthing that you can buy and just get in and drive this is a great choice. To bring this car up to show car level you would need to do the following, most of which i documented in the photos: replace carpetweld rear exhaust mount (it is held in place by wire currently, functional but not correct)replace hood insulationdetail engineclean/detail engine bayreplace visorsreplace rearview mirrorneeds clockfix heaterrepair or replace bumpers The P1800ES is a gorgeous car that turns heads everywhere it goes. It is very uncommon and people love it.
