Vehicle Detail
Great roadster that cost a fortune new, but you can have it used for small fraction of original price. This one is about 340 HP rated and regardless the mileage, it still does what is suppose to. The car was repainted in the past and paint shows some wear. The tires are good for now, but it will need new tires and it comes with 17" AMG monoblock wheels on front and classic Lorinser 18" monoblocks on rear. Spare is 17" AMG monoblock. I replaced 2 of AMG monoblock wheels with Lorinsers due to some damages the original wheels had. Everything works, cold AC, have hardtop . The old headliner sag and I have new material for installation included. Seat skins have been replaced with other MB skins. Newer radiator, transmission serviced about 2000 miles ago (new pilot bushing). The car has no leaks, minimal transmission sweating so the only thing that might need refreshing is paint. 2 working switchblade keys and manuals. Car has California valid registration but is located in Las Vegas. Car has to go and listing starts at 1 cent with no reserve.Small refundable deposit required within 24 HR. On Aug-31-18 at 16:12:34 PDT, seller added the following information: jkbclyde What color is the hard top and do you have the stand and cover?A;Hardtop is same color the car is. I have garage hoist for it, but hoist is not included in the price. . gorgeousoHi, So I looked at all of the photos close up. Was the bumper damaged? The paint in those areas looks strange in the photos, as if it was in an accident and then touch-up paint was used. Also, the driver side door looks like the paint is buckling from rust possibly and was painted over in that area? I can't really tell. Where is the car originally from. Also, how would I actually fix the ceiling? I see the sagging. Is that an expensive job? Thank you. A;This is all time California car, so no sign of rust. Over the years the car had it corners and driver door scratched, what made the paint to peel off in some spots. That has been repainted, but the peeled paint was not spackled that is why you see the difference on close up. Those things are not noticeable from few ft away as you can see on street pictures. I had to take close-ups in garage with flashlight to show. Overall the car still looks good and new paint job would bring it to perfection. gorgeousoThanks for responding. But, about the loose ceiling....how is that fixed? Also, where is the hard top? One more question please. Does the car have a rough idle? Generally with Mercedes the big problem is a rough idle. Thank you. A:Headliner is glued on. There is pictorial on benzworld how to do it. You scrape old glue off, spray or brush new glue and lay new material on it. Should be easy job, but I did not use hardtop, so never got to it. There are pictures of hardtop hanging in garage in the album. Engine has new motor mounts and you don't know it is running at idle. My friend tested it by standing his long flashlight on top of the engine and it was holding the balance.
