1969 Chevy Camaro Indy Pace Car! Of the 3675 pace cars built in 1969, not many more than about 50 were big block cars. This came with a 325 HP 396 engine and is a number matching car.The car comes with a sign I made up for car shows, it's protect-o-plate, owners manual, a 1/18 scale die cast model still in the box, Johnny Lightning die cast unopened, along with numerous Camaro books and a Jim Beam decanter, unopened in box.The tires still look like new. New front coil springs were put on last year.The car spent it's whole life in Wisconsin; it was originally sold to a lawyer in town I purchased it from the second owner in late 1971 or early 1972 and have owned it since then. The car has always been garaged and never driven in winter. It has slightly over 80,000 original miles. The car has been mostly driven to car shows and has won a lot of trophies. I'm at the age where I need someone else to enjoy the car as much as I have.The car was repainted professionally with DuPont base coat clear coat. It has a few chips and scratches, but is very presentable. The top has been replaced and looks great. The interior was also replaced as the original was faded out. The engine was refreshed by a professional mechanic about 6-7 years ago at about 78000 miles. It included new rings, timing gears, and chain. New cam, lifters, rockers, push rods, etc. I still have all the old parts in boxes. The engine did not need to be bored out. The car comes with an AM radio. I have since installed a factory AM-FM radio and both radios come with the car.I have a realistic reserve on the car so bid it to win it.
