My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2002 Mercedes Benz E430 4Matic sedan with just 122k miles. I would rate the exterior of this E430 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in classic Silver over matching Ash Gray leather interior. The finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Mercedes, you'd be hard pressed to find any damage worth complaining about. The only corrosion I spotted on the body is limited to a few small spots here and there that should be visible in the photos. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this E430 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. You can see that the headliner sags a little, which is common at this age and mileage. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The leather trimmed seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The wood veneers show well for their age, too. The power windows, locks, and seats all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. The heater works well but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it DOES NOT blow cold air. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this E430 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The 4.3L V8 is a very smooth engine that delivers impressive power. The five speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. This E430 has the factory optional 4Matic AWD system, which is tested and working properly. 4Matic AWD gives this sedan remarkable grip during nasty weather, which is important.
