For sale is a nearly perfect rust free, 1966 Mustang Coupe factory air. Car was bought new in Arizona where it was driven until 1984 when bought by a California resident. It was driven in California through 1994 when brought to Kansas during a job transfer by California owner. California owner parked car in 1994 in climate controlled garage where it sat until 2017. This car has never seen salt or snow and has absolutely no rust, no welds, no Bondo. Just a clean California Mustang which is very very rare. Everything on this car works, all lights and wiring are in good working condition, flashers work, parking brake works, A/C worked but was disconnected for engine removal. I bought the car to restore in 2017. Got car running but it was overheating so I pulled original 289 to rebuild but had cylinder damage from sitting too long with an apparent blown head gasket. Buyer will have to purchase/rebuild a motor. Because this car was in storage from 1994 to present, all of the following items bought and installed in 1992 1993 and 1994 and work done in 1992, 1993 and 1994 has less than 2000 miles on it/them; Here is what the car comes with; *Brand-new in 1992 Factory Ford Top-Loader 4-speed with Hurst shifter*Brand-new in 1992 Detroit locker rear-end with 3:56 gears.*Brand-new in 1992 1-inch Shelby Cobra Sway Bars. 1-inch lowered with graphite poly bushings throughout.*Brand new in 1992 Factory Ford front disk 4-piston brakes (GT-K ford factory)*Brand new in 1992 Shelby Monte Carlo bar, Export brace, HD springs front and rear.*Brand-new in 1992 Factory Ford GT Rally-pack.*Brand-new in 1992 Factory Ford cast iron tri-Y headers, dual exhaust with H-pipe welded in.*Brand-new in 1992 (All still in boxes new in Ford packaging) Factory Ford front windshield, rear window and side window seals, door seals, window felts, hood to cowl seals, Hood bumpers, SS fuel lines, wiring harness clips, windshield washer bag, heater hoses, brake-clutch-gas pedal pads, window regulator, factory original for hose clamps for all hoses, battery tray,and much much more. Boxes and Boxes of brand new parts. This car was being built to race. It corners like a sports car and holds the road like a real Shelby. Paint is mostly original except for a touch-up on passenger front fender. New in 2017 Shelby 4-core welded aluminum radiator. New in 2017 Tan carpet and padding (needs installation.) Also Included in auction is a pair of aluminum Cobra valve covers, a chrome Ford Motorsport deep sump oil pan Chrome GT-K Hipo V-8 air cleaner as well as a box of original parts such as air cleaner, extra hub-caps etc. CONDITION: Body is great. No rust anywhere. seats are factory and either need deep cleaning or replacement. No large holes but typical wear. Original trunk mat and spare tire cover look like new. Headliner in good condition. No cracks on Dash. Shelby wood grain steering wheel with Cobra center cap. Rally-pac clock works and keep good time. Car comes with extra white hood that I was going to paint black OPTIONAL: I started building a 351 Windsor to replace the 289. The block is bored-out .30 over and line-bored, ready to be finished. I will sell this for an additional 850.00 I am a professional hauler. Delivery can be arranged for additional cost.
