This auction is for undeniably the best year of the Cherokee XJs built. 1999 is the most desirable year made with the greatest of dependability. But what you see here is a fully built and capable Jeep that was built by an ASE certified technician. This is being auctioned off with no reserve, so bid to win. The Jeep is 100 percent rust free and wears the factory original Gunmetal Pearl paint that is in fabulous shape and still retains the shine of a couple yr old Jeep. We typically paint the trucks we build but this one did not need it and afforded for a few more upgrades. We ordered the Bushwacker flares and had them color matched to the Gunmetal Pearl Body color. Then to protect the rust free rockers we added a set of custom rock sliders. We then added the Smittybilt MOD winch bumper as well as the Smittybilt MOD stinger. Theres is also a Smittybilt 9.5 2nd gen winch added to the bumper. The D-rings are like no others that are offered by XJ builders on the net. These are rated for 15k and have a twisted design to aid with off side pulls. Saving some of the interior room we added a Surco S5050 roof basket with a 48 inch Hi-lift Jack and a 20 inch shovel. To help seeing at night, we all know the Cherokee factory light suck, we added a set of Delta 8k H4 headlights and 4 pod lights two on bumper and two on the A pillar. The lift and suspension on this truck was where we paid the most attention since it was a very nice base to build on. The truck is currently sitting at 6 inches of lift with adjustability available with simple hand tools. The short arm geometry has been corrected with a set of RCX control arm drop brackets. The front is lifted with a set of RE 4 inch coils and a set of JKS ACOS adjusters. These adjust the lift from 1.5 inches to 3.75 inches., currently set at 1.5 inches. The rear has a set of 4.5 inch leafs with HD Offroad adjustable shackle relocation mounts. The suspension is finished off with Procomp Prorunner shocks and steering stabilizer. Now to steer this thing massive Ruffstuff crossover steering was added with upgraded 7/8” Barnes 4wd offset heims. The front axle has been sleeved and has USA Alloy. Then a set of Yukon 4.56 Gears were added with an Aussie locker. Then we covered it all up with a black G2 differential cover. The back 8.25 Chrysler rear has a matching set of Yukon 4.56 gears with a Powertrax locker. This rear was cover with a thick Ruffstuff differential cover. And to make sure you don’t lose the driveshaft we added a G2 slip yoke eliminator. With all this lift and axle work we decided to add a set of 33 inch GoodYear MTR’s mounted on a set of Blackrock 15x10 streetlock wheels. The tires have been roadforce balance and ride excellent. The interior of this Jeep is in excellent condition. No, this does not have any tears on the side of the driverside seat like all the others on eBay even that guy that does complete nut and bolt restorations. Added a modern Kenwood CD/media player to make the rides more enjoyable. The AC is ice cold. The headliner is brand new. The Jeep will have a complete interior and exterior detail done before the new buyer picks it up. The carpets are in excellent shape and free of any rips or stains. The mechanicals of this Jeep is in perfect shape with compression numbers on the motor within specs of a brand new motor. The trans shifts solidly through all 4 forward gears like it is suppose to. All fluids in the Jeep has been replaced, as well as a fresh tune-up. You buy this one there is nothing to do for the first 3000 miles. This is a no reserve auction and this truck will be sold.
