The C6 is an amazing sports car that is easy to drive daily. At 118k miles and counting, I drive it every day and it returns 30+ mpg on the highway. Of course, when you want to accelerate, the LS3 will rocket you to 60 mph in almost 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 mph. It really is the best of both worlds- a comfortable, reliable, economical daily driver with supercar performance. If you are new to the C6 world, the 2008+ model years are far superior to the 05-07 models. There are many improvements to the drivetrain and steering that make it a much better car to drive. 2009 adds the new variable ratio steering rack. History: This is a southern car that has never seen a winter. Formerly a CPO car, it was well maintained at the dealer since new with 64 service records on the carfax report, almost all entries were the same dealer. There are 4 previous owners on the carfax with no accidents reported. Reason for sale: I am a car enthusiast and have owned many sports cars over the years. I like to research and buy great cars to experience them, then move on to the next one that catches my interest. This example is one of the best I have seen for the price, with all the right options. Selling to purchase a C7. Vehicle Condition: Exterior: 8.5/10. The C6 is a true sports car and rides pretty low, as a result there are some scrapes on the bottom of the front bumper. The passenger side rocker panel on the bottom has a chip in the fiberglass, not visible unless you are under the car looking up. The paint overall looks great with no scratches. This car is a daily driver and not a garage queen, but overall very nice for the year. The front bumper clear coat is peeling in a small area. Interior: 8/10. Overall looks great for the year. Some wear on the seat bolsters and carpeting as you would expect with a light colored interior. Mechanical: 10/10. No known issues at all, runs and drives like new. Everything works and there is no known leaks or fluid consumption. The LS3 and 6L80 trans last very long if well maintained. It has matching BFG sport comp 2 non-run flat tires with over 80% tread remaining. Removing the run flat tires results in a significant improvement to ride quality and performance. The car is priced to sell quickly at well under book values. If you are looking for a high performance car at a great price that is easy to drive daily, I don’t think there is a much better option than the C6 Corvette.
