Vehicle Detail
Hey guys, up for sale is a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. No engine. No trans. This was a project I had going, but ended up changing routes and location. In the rear we have a rebuilt posi / disc rear end by Rear End Specialties in San Jose, CA. New bearings, seals, fluid, rotors and rebuilt brake calipers. Rear end is linked up to new OER leaf springs, new shocks and new heavy duty rear sway bar. Up front we have tubular control arms, both upper and lower. New shocks, new heavy duty sway bar, rebuilt spindles with new bearings, ball joints and rotors as well as rebuilt calipers up front. Radiator core support & sub frame have been completely stripped to bare metal and coated in POR15. Along with the car will come a pile of parts (that I some how managed to fit all into the car so you can tow this home all in one trip): re-cored radiator from San Jose Radiator, radiator shroud, front bucket seats, rear buckets (3), rear seat backs (3), center consoles (2), arm rests (2), steering column with original steering wheel, fiberglass wheel flare set with fiberglass chin spoiler, original chin spoiler, window trim, gas tank, gauge bezels (3), shakers (2), and other parts that I can't remember- anything else I find while clearing the garage I will throw in there, too. T Tops, clean black dashboard with no cracks, power windows, 15x8 snowflake rims. Rear window is currently not sealed down on the car and front hood takes some time to open. Floors have been sanded and are POR15 coated with Dynamat on top. Underside of trunk has been coated in Undercoat and the trunk as well as the rest of the car is rust free. Do what you want with it! You can finish restoring it, use it as a race roller, or take the sub frame and the rear end/various parts to finish a project that you already have. $500 depost due in 24 hours. I can hold onto the car for 7 days after the car has sold. If this timeline doesn't work for you, but you are a serious buyer, contact me so we can work something out. California pink slip and bill of sale in hand, California DMV back fees around 800, I wouldn't try to bring this back on the road unless you want to pay that, many great performance parts to use though.
