This is a 1971 vw karmann Gaia convertable that I bought unfinished several years ago. The body was painted and a new floor pan had been installed. I put in a new steering box, windshield, upolstry, top, wiring, seats from a bmw , 4 Pirelli p4 four season p185 65 r 15 tires, and 4 5.5x 15 wheels. I also installed new rear disc brakes and matching master cyl. I put on a new alternator when I got the car running. I recently had the heads rebuilt and installed them, along with a new clutch kit. The engine runs excellent and burns no oil. The front brakes and ball joints and shocks had been done when I bought the car. Also there is a new black boot in the trunk for the top. The rear seat back is missing and was not in the car when I got it. Over all , this is not a show car, but it looks and drives great, and gets a lot of good comments. The car is being sold as is.
