Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Audi A6 Quattro. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in Melange Metallic, which is a light brown, over tan leather interior. I would rate the exterior of this A6 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Up close, you can see some rust bubbles on the LF fender as well as a few light scrapes and rub marks here and there...nothing unusual for an older vehicle. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. There is a small crack on the bottom of the windshield. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Again, please be sure to check out each of the photos carefully. The headlights have a little hazing but the optional xenon HID headlights easily shine through the lenses. I would rate the interior of this A6 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and all four seats are heated. The leather seats are soft, supple and show an acceptable amount of wear for their age. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Audi A6 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps proper temperature and feels strong. The check engine light is on. The code was for a random misfire, common when an older vehicle sits a little while. The engine runs strong and feels smooth under load. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. Quattro AWD gives this sedan SUV-like capability in snow as well as unrivaled grip in normal conditions. Quattro traces its roots back to Audi's rallye racing history and is a purely mechanical AWD system so it is virtually indestructible. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
